Now I don’t know about you, but the Dior Book Tote was one of the bag trends that I thought would fade away. I mean, it’s a beautiful bag. But it’s essentially a shopper type of bag that retails for over £2k! I thought the trend would fade, and we’d all have moved on to something else by now. But boy was I wrong! The Dior Book Tote now comes in literally hundreds of different styles and I’m obsessed with mine. Granted I didn’t pay full retail for this beauty, but now I have it in my collection. I’m converted.
I love the practically of this bag. You can literally throw everything and the kitchen sink in there. It’s a statement bag that seems to go with everything. I can’t tell you how many compliments I’ve had while wearing this bag. And while that shouldn’t be a reason to purchase a Dior Book Tote. I certainly like buying bags that receive compliments. It reminds me that I might not have bad taste after all!

So have I used it much? Well, it’s not really the kind of bag you take to Tesco. Although the size definitely helps when you’ve forgotten your bags for life. It’s more of a bag that you use when you need to carry a lot of stuff. I actually used it a lot last week while I was away in Portugal with my new company. It was the perfect size for carrying a laptop, water bottle, notebook and other essentials.
But with no long strap, the bag can get a little heavy on the arms. Plus, I really need to get a twilly or two for the handles. I’m not sure if it’s because the handles are so light in colour, but from carrying it around last week the handles are starting to get a little discoloured…

The other only slight down point, is also a reason why I love this bag. There’s no zip, or awkward opening you need to manoeuvre every time you want to get something from the bag. Which I love. But from a security perspective, it’s a nightmare!
So there you have it, my short but sweet Dior Book Tote review. Am I glad I bought it? Absolutely. I love the design and the craftsmanship that has gone into the embroidery. Do I think it’ll look this good forever? Unfortunately not. But bags are meant to be used and not stored on a shelf right?
What do you think of the Dior Book Tote? Are you a fan of this bag?
