Holiday beauty essentials

Holiday beauty essentials

Now I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait for my summer holiday. I haven’t been on a big beach holiday like the one I have booked for this year, for ages. I usually head to Portugal to my parent’s place, which is lovely, but it’s normally a very chilled affair. This year, I’m going for a beautiful hotel with one of my work friends for a week of sun, sea, sand and some much needed R’n’R. But because it’s a bigger holiday than I usually do, it means I’m upping my game when it comes to the beauty department. So here are my holiday beauty essentials.

MINATURES

Now I feel like it isn’t a holiday until you’ve raided Boots for all the best miniature products. And this year is no different. While this is just a small selection of products I’ll be taking, I cannot resist a mini version of my favourite products. Like the Soap & Glory Rushower dry shampoo and my favourite shampoo and conditioner – the Argan Oil of Morocco range from OGX.

NAILS

Now trying to find the time for manicure and pedicure can sometimes be a challenge ahead of a holiday. Which is why these press on pedicure nails from imPRESS are a genius idea. I’ve tried so many of their nail designs before, and I’ve always been impressed by them. Which is why I was excited to see that they’ve added toes to their range as well. Not only are the designs gorgeous, but they’ve also easy to apply with no glue. So perfect for when your feet need a quick holiday refresh. You can find the press-on pedicure imPRESS nails here.

FAVOURITES

It wouldn’t be a holiday beauty essentials post with the products that I need to ensure my makeup stays fresh in the heat. Which is why the amazing Too Faced Glitter Glue and the Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Finish Powder have made an appearance. Both are firm favourites at ensuring my eye makeup does not budge in the heat. And that the only glow from my complexion, is my makeup, and not the warm weather. While the Clarins Instant Light Lip Comfort Oil is there as it’s the perfect product to wear on your lips in the heat. It’s light, moisturising and gives you a subtle hint of colour.

Let me know in the comments below what your holiday beauty essentials are.

I really need to try Charlotte Tilbury products. The dry shampo looks really good for summer., especially for places where you can’t easily shower – e.g. festivals

This is such a handy post, I always forget to pick up travel-sized toiletries but they are so much handier aren’t they! x

My Mum got me some OGX not long ago – their coconut one and it was fab! I hadn’t used them before. I love getting hold of minitures for holiday!

I totally agree with you on the minis section! They’re so cute , I love trying them before buying full sized ones too. Anything from OGX is so good!
