John Frieda Luxurious Volume Collection

When it comes to haircare, I’m all about trying to add volume. Although I have a lot of hair, it’s quite fine and therefore lacks the volume I crave. And I only seem to be able to achieve the volume I want with a lot of time, effort and products. Which is why I was very excited to give the John Frieda Luxurious Volume collection a try. With targeted volume-building technology, the collection aims to enhancing your hair’s natural volume for a soft bouncy finish. Big claims but now that I’ve started using it, I don’t think I’m going to stop. Here’s are my four favourite products from their collection:

John Frieda Luxurious Volume 7 Day Volume Shampoo & Conditioner £5.99 each

I was pretty sceptical about using the shampoo and conditioner. I just couldn’t imagine how they could help with the volume. As surely the volume is achieved in the styling? Well I was wrong. The shampoo and conditioner work together to restore fullness and strength your hair for healthy volume right from the roots. And using these together wit the in-shower treatment definitely makes my hair look and feel more voluminous.

John Frieda Luxurious Volume 7 Day Volume In-Shower Treatment £9.99

This is a really interesting product. It’s a semi-permanent treatment which has volume boosting polymers which penetrate the hair to thicken the individual fibres. And it really works! I find that it just makes my hair easier to work with and definitely adds the volume I want.

John Frieda Luxurious Volume Fine to Full Blow Out Styling Spray £5.99

Just like the shampoo, conditioner and in-shower treatment, the styling spray works to give your hair some serious volume. I use it when my hair is almost dry and style it with a rounded brush and hair dryer. I find it gives my hair natural volume and is super soft to touch.

Have you tried anything from the John Frieda Luxurious Volume Collection?

I’ve tried the blow dry spray and it was very good. I would certainly use other products in the range
