July Birchbox

Happy Monday everyone and can I just start by saying how cute is this month Birchbox? This month Birchbox has collaborated with Millie Mackintosh to create a box that will help you carry the summer vibes through to August. Even the sun is unlikely to make an extended appearance this summer, I love the theme and design of this box. The swirls of pinks and purples with the rose gold detailing is just gorgeous! So let me show you all what’s in the July Birchbox

LOC x Millie (full size – RRP £9)

Designed and named by Miss Mackintosh herself, this high-shine lip pencil is just lovely. Named as ‘Bohemian Rose’ this pretty pink is the perfect shade to wear for a pop of colour this summer. Plus, not only is it moisturising, but the lip colour also lasts throughout the day.

John Frieda Luxurious Volume 7 Day Volume In-Shower Treatment (full size – RRP £9.99)

You get to pick which John Frieda product you’d like this month and I went for the Luxurious Volume 7 Day Volume In-Shower Treatment. Mainly because I already have a bottle of the Frizz Ease Forever Smooth Anti-Frizz Primer (the other option) and hadn’t had a chance to try this yet. It claims to give your hair enough oomph to last through until your next wash. Sounds impress so I can’t wait to give this a go.

Nails Inc (sample size – RRP £15)

I’m a big fan of Nails Inc so was pleased to see them in this month’s Birchbox. I’ve not tried their gel effect polishes before so am keen to see how they compare to others on the market. I also love the colour – it’s a dark rose colour that will look lovely for summer.

Caudalie Polyphenol C15 SPF20 Anti-Wrinkle Protect Fluid (Sample size – RRP £29)

Caudalie were featured in the May Birchbox and while I love the brand, it would have been nice to try something from a different brand this month. But saying that I am keen to try this product. It’s packed with antioxidants to fight against any wrinkles, vitamin C to stimulate cell renewal and hyaluronic acid to plump skin.

Thermaliv Lotion Micellair (Sample size – RRP £12.90)

I love a good micellar water and I love that this one is ideal size for travelling. It just makes my life a little easier when I don’t have to decant my Bioderma into a travel friendly100ml bottle. And like most of the micellar waters on the market, this one removes your makeup while cleansing your skin as well.
