L'Oreal Elvive Fibrology Air Collection

As someone who has fine hair I’m forever looking for products to lift my limp locks and add some much needed volume. When the original L’Oreal Elvive Fibrology collection launched, I was a big fan. I loved that it made my hair look and feel more volumious, while keeping it feeling super soft, smooth and easy to style. Which is why I was keen to try the new and improved L’Oreal Elvive Fibrology Air collection.

The new collection is formulated with clear gel to deliver 48 hours of volume. As the formula is a clear gel, it doesn’t leave any product build up behind, which can weigh your hair down. Instead your hair feels weightless with lifted roots. Also, as the collection contains Filloxane, it penetrates each hair strand giving your fine hair more body and thickness. I’ve found that it leaves my hair feeling nourished, softer and smoother. And of course with a little added volume.

Along with the Volumising Thickening Shampoo and Conditioner, there is also a Root-Lifting Dry Shampoo. This is probably my favourite product from the new collection. As well as refreshing your hair between washes, it also lifts your roots giving your hair more volume. Not only does it smell gorgeous, (just like the shampoo and conditioner) but it really works to give your hair a boost when it’s feeling and looking a little limp. Plus as the dry shampoo comes in an invisible finish, it’s perfect for those of us with darker locks. As there is no tell-tale white residue left behind after using the dry shampoo.

Having loved the original collection so much I was a little worried as to how this new Air collection would compare. But I love it even more. I find the lighter weight formula gives my hair the much needed volume I crave and desire. So this is a real winner for me. Plus the additional dry shampoo means I can top up my volume on the go if I need to.

The collection is available in Boots from £2.89.

Have you tried the new L’Oreal Elvive Fibrology Air Collection? What’s your favourite volumising product to use?
