L'Oreal Paris Infallible Mega Gloss

There’s been quite a buzz about the L’Oreal Paris Infallible Mega Gloss lip gloss, which is why I had to pick one up myself last week and see what all the fuss is about. When it comes to lip glosses I find they can be really hit and miss. Some are great at lasting all day with little colour fading, while others are too sticky and glittery for my liking. But the L’Oreal Paris Infallible Mega Gloss lip glosses are refreshingly different.

The collection is split into glitters, creams and neon shades. The glitters were a little too sparkly for me and Boots has sold out of the neons, so I went for a cream shade in ‘Protest Queen’. Which as you can see is a lovely pale pink, nude colour that is my lips just better.

I love the wand applicator. The different curves allow the wand to hug your lips perfectly one way, and then define the cupids bow and line your lips if you use the wand the other way. Which is just genius to me. I’ve also heard that the wand is a dupe for the YSL Gloss Volupte which isn’t surprising as YSL and L’Oreal are owned by the same company. In fact I wouldn’t be surprised if they’ve used the same formula to create a new range of shades for the L’Oreal customer.

The formula of the L’Oreal Paris Infallible Mega Gloss lip gloss is really light and not sticky at all. It’s a rich moisturising formula that I found lasted quite a few hours before needing to be re-applied. Overall I really liked it and will definitely be heading back into Boots to pick up some more when they have them in stock.

The L’Oreal Paris Infallible Mega Gloss lip glosses are available from Boots for £6.99.

Have you tried these before? What’s your favourite lip gloss brand?

You’ve made me really want to try these, the formula sounds fantastic and I’m always a fan of loreal products 🙂 Love the colour you picked, it looks like a perfect everyday option.

I was looking for these the other day, but the stand was a mess and they only had a few left. Protest Queen looks like a lovely everyday shade, I think an online order is about to happen x
