Now I don’t know about you. But I’m all for an across-the-body bag at the moment. Although I have some beautiful totes, I just don’t seem to be reaching for them anymore. More often than not, I’ll always opt for an across-the-body. I just find them a lot easier to wear and style. Not to mention incredibly convenient. Which is why I thought I’d review the hugely popular Louis Vuitton Pochette Felicie.

Now, this bag is quite hard to get at the moment. Essentially Louis Vuitton are limiting the amount of canvas bags, like these, in favour of pushing people towards their leather bags. Along with Monogram Canvas, this style does also comes in:
- Bicolour Monogram Empreinte Leather £1,020
- Epi Leather £785
- Monogram Vernis Leather £785
- Monogram Empreinte Leather £910
- Damier Azur Canvas £745
- Damier Ebene Canvas £745

I think the style and material you go for is a personal choice, but I love this bag in the Monogram Canvas. I think it’s just such a timeless classic. But saying that, I also have my eye on one in Dune in the Monogram Empreinte Leather – it’s a beautiful colour!

But back to this bag. One of the reasons I love this bag, is how versatile it is. You can wear it across the body, on the shoulder by looping the strap, or you can remove the strap and use it as a clutch bag. It also has two removable pockets, including one with card slots to make it easier to store your everyday cards.

At £745, it’s also pretty reasonable in the world of luxury handbags and Louis Vuitton. This is very similar to the Chanel wallet on chain, which is around double the price and can fit less in. Even the Saint Laurent equivalents are £100 more expensive. And smaller. The only issue might be getting your hands on it. But they are still stocking it and I’ve seen it available on the website, although never for very long. Let me know in the comments below what you think of the Louis Vuitton Pochette Felicie and whether you own it too.
