Marc Jacobs Beauty Lolita Palette

As you may have seen from my Spehora Haul video there was one product that I was particularly excited about. A product that I have been lusting over for what feels like forever. And that is the Marc Jacobs Beauty Lolita Palette. It was literally love at first sight! was love at first sight. The shadows are creamy, the colours are neutral, and the sleek packaging is stunning!

Now admittedly I don’t need another nude eyeshadow palette. In fact nearly all the eyeshadow palettes I own are nude. But what can I say? I love a nude palette and this one is particularly special. The packaging is truly beautiful and the nylon pouch is a great touch.

The first four shades of this palette include a creamy beige, a soft brown and a charcoal brown. As you would expect from such a high end palette, the pigmentation is pretty amazing and the shadows have a velvety smooth texture.

The next four shadows are probably my favourites as they are the shimmer shadows! You have a champagne gold shimmer, a shimmery pink, a soft peach and a rosy copper. All of these shadows are incredibly smooth and have a great colour pay off. Their silky texture and luminous finish is exactly what you would expect from Marc Jacobs beauty.

While this palette was an expensive purchase, it’s also been one of my most used products recently. The shimmers are great for a glam eye look while the mattes are perfect for a subtle everyday look. This palette has everything you want. Though be warned, the gorgeous champagne gold glitter shadow has a little fallout. I find it’s best to use with a damp brush.
