Introducing the Maybelline 24K Nudes Palette

Maybelline 24K Nudes Palette

When it comes to makeup. I think it’s fair to say that I have an obsession with it. And my biggest obsession might be nude eyeshadow palettes. I’ve lost count of how many palettes I have. But 99% of them contain neutral colours. What can I say? I’m a sucker for a nude palette. And one of the newest palettes in my collection is this – the Maybelline 24k Nudes Palette. Now although this is a nude palette. It does also contain a few out there colours. Colours that I’m hoping will push me out of my comfort zone a little when it comes to eye makeup.

Maybelline 24K Nudes Palette

Now you may have seen that I picked this up in latest Boots Haul and seeing as it was on offer in Boots, I really couldn’t say no. I have one other nude palette from Maybelline, but the combination of metals, mattes and shimmers sold this one to me. I have to say the pigmentation is pretty impressive for a drugstore palette. And what I love about this, is that on the back of the palette there are instructions highlighting which colours go well together. You can split the shades into quads, trios or duos. Which is so useful! Honestly I can be really lazy at times, so it’s nice knowing I don’t have to think too much about which colours will work best together.

Maybelline 24K Nudes Palette

There are 12 shades in this palette and each colour is infused with metallic gold pigments for extra shimmer. There’s a pretty bright sparkly gold all the way through to a shimmery nude and some brighter colours in between. Including a beautiful aubergine shade and midnight blue. This palette is perfect for taking you through from day to night. Not only is the pigmentation impressive but the formula is incredibly creamy and buttery to use on your lids, and they blend like a dream.

The Maybelline 24K Nudes Palette costs £9.99 and you can pick it up at Boots.

What do you think of this palette? Are these the kind of colours you’d wear? Which makeup item are you obsessed with?

There really is a good mix of colours in this palette, and they are colours I could see myself using as they are not too out there. The price is reasonable as well, so I think this would be a great palette to pick up x

I am a fan of neutral palettes as well and I love the sound of the 24 K palette, especially since like you said it has a buttery formula

I’ve only recently started wearing eyeshadow again so prefer neutral shades, but like the range of colours here. There is something for all occasions x

For a nudes palette there’s quite a mixture of colours which is nice. I did see a nice rose/ golden looking Maybelline one which I need to check out x

I hardly ever wear eyeshadow and if I do it’s usually a smokey eye when I go out. I love how this pallet has the classic nude shades but also the purple and blues. As you say – it would be great to take you from day to night.

I absolutely love nude palettes! I don’t wear eye shadow very often so I only have Mega Nudes by Technic which aren’t too bad 😀
