Who doesn’t love a nude palette? If you’re anything like me then your Muji storage unit is absolutely bursting with a range of high and low end nude palettes. But what can I say, I’m a sucker for a nude eyeshadow and the ones in the Maybelline the nudes palette are lovely.

As with many other nude palettes on the market, this one has a great mix of 12 wearable shimmer, matt and sheer shades. Including matte taupes, gold shimmers, and sheer shades perfect for highlighting.

The palette has been designed to make it easier for you to know which shades will go together, as on the back they’ve split the colours into quads, trips and duos to create easy to follow looks. I think this is a great idea as it’s perfect for those who like to have a little inspiration when it comes to applying their eye makeup. I’ve used the first quad so the first two colours from the top row and the first two colours from the second row.

When it comes to colour pay off, all the shades have a velvety texture with some having a stronger pigmentation that others. The shimmers are probably my favourite shadows as the colour pay off is impressive, the sheer shadows have a very pearly finish which is great for highlighting and the mattes have a strong colour off as well.

The only thing I’m not keen on is the eyeshadow brush that comes with the palette. It’s too small for the space which is annoying plus it’s not a great brush. But saying that, I never use the brushes with palettes anyways.

If you want to add to your nude palette collection then the Maybelline The Nude Palette is available from Boots for £9.99.

Have you tried the Maybelline The Nude Palette before? What’s your favourite nude palette?

I only recently got my first nude palette and have to say I’ve been converted. This one looks lovely and is reasonably priced too.

This nude palette looks lovely on you! For some reason the colour scheme reminds me of the Estee Lauder Sensuous Nude EDP bottle, just lovely! 🙂
