My favourite Essie duo

Favourite Essie DuoSome things are meant to go together. Salt and Pepper, Bert and Ernie and now these two polishes from Essie. I’m a huge Essie fan which is why I wanted to share with you all my favourite Essie duo that I’ve been wearing on my nails a lot lately.

Although it is coming into Spring and Summer, when it comes to my nails I do love the rich plums and inky blues that you would normally associate with winter. Which is probably why this combo is the only thing I want to wear on my nails at the moment.

This dreamy combination consists of Essie Bahama Mama and Essie A Cut Above (both £7.99). Bahama Mama is a gorgeous deep plum berry colour with a gorgeous glossy finish and A Cut Above is a stunning rose gold glitter polish that is full of light pink, small, medium and hex shaped glitter.

The result is a wearable, glossy manicure with a hint of sparkle from the glitter that lasts all week.

What’s your favourite polish combination? Have you got either of these shades in your collection?

I’ve spotted that brand a lot stopping into the drugstores. I don’t wear nail polish often only on special occasions so don’t have a favourite colour or combination. You should share a pic of what they look like worn 🙂

I’m totally the same as you when it comes to nail colours; I prefer the AW shades. That said though the new Barry M Speedy pastels are really nice and not too pale.
I like the look of this top coat too, I have quite a few top coats that do various things (glitter, crackle etc) but I never seem to use them. I’m such a lazy nail painter :p
