My top five Ouai haircare products

*This post contains affiliate links, and while I’ve worked with OUAI before, the products featured were bought by me. As always, all opinions are my own*

Now regular readers of this blog will know of my love for OUAI products. But if you’re not sure who they are, or you’ve been living under a beauty rock, let me explain. OUAI is the brainchild of celeb hairstylist Jen Atkin. The person responsible for most of the amazing hair you see on A-Listers on the red carpet. She felt that something was missing in haircare. She wanted to create a line of super-chic products that were easy to use. But most importantly delivered results. So OUAI was born.

Meaning yes in French, OUAI is about saying yes to being that effortless cool girl we all want to be. To getting real. And looking chic. Which is what we all want from our haircare right? And that’s why I love this range. Their shampoos, conditioners and styling products are designed to nourish from the outside. With specially selected ingredients that strength, fortify and enhance shine. And that’s why I trust the brand, products and Jen to give me a good hair day. Which is why I wanted to share with you all my top five Ouai haircare products.

OUAI DRY SHAMPOO

My top five Ouai haircare products

Now I don’t know about you, but I’m a sucker for dry shampoo. It’s probably the one haircare product that I absolutely cannot live without. And this one is fab at leaving my hair looking and feeling healthier, stronger and certainly fresher. Not only does it smell amazing – almost like a hair perfume. But it also neutralises product build-up and oil, leaving my hair instantly refreshed.

OUAI HAIR OIL

My top five Ouai haircare products

Now having heard so much about this little oil from other bloggers, I knew I had to give it a go. And I’m not disappointed. This multi-tasking oil not only smoothes frizz but it also seals your split ends for a high-gloss, super-soft finish. It’s full of African Galanga, Ama and Asian Borage oil which together works to protect your colour from fading and heat damage. It’s a truly multi-tasking hair oil that I can’t live without now.

OUAI TEXTURISING SPRAY

My top five Ouai haircare products

Now imagine dry shampoo and hairspray has a baby. If they did, this would be their offspring! It’s an ultra lightweight hairspray that builds incredibly volume and texture. While absorbing any oil and refreshing your hair. As someone who wears their hair curly and wavy most of the time. And isn’t a fan of washing it daily. This product has been amazing at ensuring the curls last and that my hair looks refreshed and nourished. Plus, although this is hairspray. It doesn’t leave that stiff crispy hair feel like other hairsprays.

OUAI WAVE SPRAY

My top five Ouai haircare products

While the texturising spray is fab at ensuring my curls last after a couple of days. The wave spray is perfect for helping to control the frizz. It has a lovely weightless texture which means it doesn’t weigh the hair down. And as it’s infused with rice protein, it can add hold and memory for that effortlessly undone look. I tend to use this on wet hair and then style as normal. Or if I want more a natural look, I spray onto wet hair and just leave it dry naturally. Accentuating the natural curls and waves of my hair. Either way. I love the results and I love that the smell reminds me of holidays as well!

OUAI MEMORY MIST

My top five Ouai haircare products

And finally, it’s the Memory Mist. Jam packed with plant extracts and Panthenol, Memory Mist delivers an intense hit of hydration to your hair. While Glycerin sheathes the hair shaft for a beautiful shine. But the best part, is that this product is smarter than you think. he formula uses memory polymer technology, which when activated by the heat or your dryer or style can memorise the heat styling and lock the style in place. Which means there is less retouching, less restyling and less damage in the long run!

I don’t think I’ve ever tried a Oui product, although I swear I have a mini of the oil. I love the idea of dry shampoo but my hair just doesn’t take to it very well and my hair ends up looking more greasy than it started off looking x

My mummy could do with the wave spray! That would be great for her during the holiday season and for rough drying!
