New additions to my evening skincare routine

evening skincare routine

Now as you’re probably aware from last week’s post. I am a skincare addict. And seeing as I’ve shared with you all the new additions to my morning skincare routine. Blog post here in case you missed it. I thought it was a good time to also share with you all the new additions to my evening skincare routine.

So let’s start with step one and that would be the cleanser. And my new favourite from Ark Skincare. This Age Defend Conditioning Cleanser is designed for those of us in their 30’s or 40’s. Its ultra-nourishing and helps with your skin’s natural exfoliation for a clearer and radiant complexion. Which is what we all want right? Formulated with Moringa Oil rich in Vitamin A and C for ensuring your skin retains its natural moisture. Kiwi and Passion Fruit lipids to boost your skin’s moisture levels. And Blue Lotus for help with your skin’s firmness and elasticity. This cleanser is jam packed full of goodness for your skin.

Next up is the Emma Hardie Exfoliating Brightening Tonic. Designed as a daily exfoliator to gentle smooth, brighten and even your skin tone and texture. This wonder spray is also helps to improve your skin’s clarity and increase the skin’s elasticity. Formulated with pomegranate enzymes to enhance cellular renewal and remove dead cells. Sytenol A for its natural retinol properties. Amino Acid derivative Tego Cosmo C250 for its natural skin brightening properties. Aloe Vera to soothe and hydrate the skin And nettle extract to help tone and tighten your pores. This Emma Hardie Exfoliating Brightening Tonic is jam packed full of goodness for your skin.

Moving onto eye creams next, and this absolute dream from Tropic Skincare. This Eye Dream Age Defying Overnight Butterbalm is honestly such a firm favourite at the moment. As it contains retinol, it works to plump the skin around your eyes and reduce any signs of ageing while you sleep. And I have to say although its a tiny pot, you really only need a tiny amount of the balm to dot around your eyes.

Next is the Kiehls Midnight Recovery Concentrate. Now if you haven’t tried this iconic serum, where have you been? It’s ideal for replenishing your skin while you sleep. And it honestly leaves my skin looking so fresh and healthy in the mornings.

And finally, it’s the Caudalie Vinosource S.O.S Intense Moisturising Cream. With a combination of bergamot, mandarin, lemon tree leaves, cucumber and fresh mint. This natural cream helps to alleviate any discount from redness or tightness by giving an immediate sensation of comfort. And is the perfect cream to lather on as the last step of my skincare routine.

What are your favourite evening skincare routine products?

I have used the Kiehls night serum before and agree, it is lovely…recently I have been using ‘presents’ – so random – organic and from far flung places products – and seem to love them – 🙂

All of these sound really nice. I’m so bad at setting up skincare routines, I definitely don’t do anything exciting other than wash my face and bung some overnight moisturiser on! Maybe I need to start paying more attention to how I look after my skin, especially before bed.

I love Kiehl’s products, they are one of the best out there. I used them for years before having kids.

I can’t believe I am going to say this…other than a cleansing wipe or face wash I have no skincare routine! Í will probably look like a raisin with all my lines and wrinkles by the time I am in my 60s! I must start some sort of evening skin routine!

I love skincare and every season I change it up to match the season, for my evening routine, I used ginseng, from one of my favourite Korean brands.
