I’m not very brace when it comes to lipstick colours. I really tend to stick to the same sort of colours and they are normally my lips but better shades. But I feel like it’s time to be bolder and try brighter colours, like this gorgeous red shade from Lancôme.
This Lancôme Rouge in Love Rouge Saint Honore lipstick is just lovely. The colour is a real bright red and I love the fact that the Rouge in Love formula is rose-scented, really lightweight and incredibly pigmented. You can wear this colour comfortable on the lips for several hours and it can withstand eating and drinking. This colour does leave a little pigmentation behind so even after six hours of wear you still have a little colour left on your lips.
Although this lipstick launched a few years ago I haven’t tried any of these before but they are gorgeous. I love the silver bullet packaging and that this lipstick comes in 33 different shades ranging from beige and browns, orange and red and pink and purples. You’ll definitely find a shade that suits you.
Having spent years trying to find a red that suits my skintone I’m so pleased to have discovered the Lancôme Rouge in Love Rouge Saint Honore lipstick. Although it looks very bright in the packaging, it’s actually more of a darker red colour that is moisturising and nourishing on the lips. It lasts well through eating and drinker and you need occasional top ups- which I’m really impressed with. I think I’m finally a red lipstick convert and my nude and pale pink shades may be set aside for a while!

I’m not sure why but the Lancome counter isn’t one I visit all that often compared to other beauty brands. I love this shade though! I’m definitely going to have a serious look at this lipstick range next time I’m in Debenhams.

Can’t believe how great this listick looks – it’s the kind that if I saw it in a sample I would steer well clear of. My friends have been trying to convince me to get a bright red lipstick for years; Pale skin + red lip = English rose supposedly..!
Feel braver to go and investigate a few now – especially if they last for hours without coming off on a glass!
