New in from MUA

MUA

When it comes to makeup, I’m a big believer that you don’t need to spend a fortune to look great. Yes I do splurge on foundation – as you may have seen from my high winter foundation favourites. But for highlighters and lip lacquers? Well I’m more than happy to pay just a few pounds. But only if they’re worth it. I’m not up for just wasting money on makeup that is pretty rubbish. But these new bits from MUA are definitely worth trying!

MUA Luxe Glow Beam Highlighting Powder £5

MUA

Now I love highlighters. And yes I have spent obscene amounts of money on highlighters (Hourglass and Jaclyn Hill I’m looking at you!) But honestly for £5, this is incredible value for money. And it’s not like anything else in my collection. It features a unique rotary compact which crushes the powder leaving fine particles of gold dust – literally! You only need a little of this product to achieve a healthy glow, but you can use it on your face and body. And it looks lovely around the tear duct as well!

MUA Luxe Velvet Lip Lacquers £3

MUA

MUA

I’m really loving a darker lip at the moment. I know it’s a cliche but I love rocking a dark lip in the winter months and these new Lip Lacquers from MUA are just lovely. They glide on your lips, dry super quickly and leave a gorgeous matte finish. And the best part, once they’re on your lips, they’re not going anyway. Honestly these lacquers do not budge! I have two of the new shades – Firecracker which is a lovely deep red and Flair which is a gorgeous berry colour. Both perfect for Winter and both haven’t left my handbag since I picked them up!

You can pick up the entire collection on Superdrug’s website.

What do you think of these new MUA bits? Would you wear the highlighter or lip lacquers?

I rarely buy anything from MUA but I spotted this highlighter a while back and I was thinking of picking it up. Unfortunately they didn’t have it in the superdrug I went to recently so I might have to look online x

These are really good value – I’m really lazy and don’t bother with a highlighter.

So I spent two years looking for a powdery highlighter, got desperate and bought a stack from Korea, and now it’s easily available and cheap?

I’ll still buy one of these though!

I adore MUA and have a lot of their range. Their lip lacquers are stunning and literally stay on for hours! I think the price is phenomenal and for the quality I would expect to pay far more x

MUA has definitely upped their game! How is the after math of the lip lacquers? I bought them the last time and they flaked on my lips really badly even after applying a lip moisturiser!
