CND Vinylux AutumnWinter Collection

Now I don’t know about you. But I feel like winter is suddenly here. While we seemed to have skipped through summer. And had about five minutes of autumn. For me, it really feels like winter is coming. And I have to admit, I’m rather excited about it. As much as I love autumn. Being a Christmas baby means that winter will always be my favourite season. I love getting to wear boots, coats and jumpers. And while I’m not a fan of the rain. I do love a cold crisp winter day. And who doesn’t love finding new nail shades to rock over the coming months? I know I do. And I think I’ve found some of the most gorgeous winter nail shades thanks to CND Vinylux and the new autumn/winter collection.

Now if you’ve not tried CND Vinylux before. Where have you been? Their polish is designed as a weekly manicure that is chip-resistant and fast drying with brilliant shine. You don’t need a base coat, but you do need the special top coat. And a bit of sunlight – the sunlight adds increased durability! And I have four of the new nail colours to share with you all.

The colours are split into two collection. The Glacial Illusion collection, and the Nightspell collection. So starting with the Glacial Illusions collection, this range pulls the trends straight from the catwalk to your fingertips with six delicate shades that reflect the hot trend for metallic:

Ice Bar – a magic clear with colour metallic sparkles

CND Vinylux Ice Bar

Mystic Slate – a cool, creamy grey

And then moving onto the Nightspell collection, which takes you from day to night with these gorgeous jewel toned shades:

Lilac Eclipse – a creamy light berry

CND Vinylux Lilac Eclipse

Mercurial – an antiqued gold shimmer

Each of the polishes retail for £10.95 and are available from here.

What do you think of these shades? Are these the kind of colours you like to wear in Autumn/Winter?

I am a tom boy so don’t really do nail varnish, but I do like the teal coloured one, or Mystic Slate as I think you called it. I love the amazing names of them and the colours are nice and simple. It doesn’t tempt me into the world of coloured nails though 😉

These are just the kinds of shades I like to wear. I’m definitely more about the subtle colours for my nails 🙂

I love that creamy grey. I’ve got into the bad habit of biting my nails so need to stop that
