Philip Kingsley Geranium and Neroli Elasticizer

Unless you’ve been living under a beauty rock for the past few years, chances are you’ve probably heard of the award winning cult favourite that is the Philip Kingsley Elasticizer. If you haven’t, it’s a pre-shampoo treatment that helps to transform your lack-lustre locks. And it’s probably one of my favourite hair products to use. In fact I’ve lost count of the amount of times I’ve repurchased this. But now along with their original Elasticizer, Philip Kingsley has added a new fragrance to the range – Geranium and Neroli.

Inspired by Philip’s favourite holiday retreat in Italy, the Philip Kingsley Geranium and Neroli Elasticizer is packed full of natural oils, including neroli, geranium, lavender, rose and orange to add much needed hydration and bounce for healthy looking locks. I’m sure you won’t be surprised to hear that this treatment smells amazing!

Although this is a pre-shampoo treatment, I tend to use it just once or twice a week depending on the condition of my hair. I’ll either apply it onto damp hair and leave it for about 20 to 30 minutes before rinsing. And then shampooing and conditioning my hair like normal. Or if my hair is feeling particularly dry then I’ll apply it before bed and leave it in all night to work it’s magic.

Seeing as my hair is normally in need of some added strength and hydration, this treatment is perfect for me. It helps to control the frizz and flayaways while preventing any further breakages and boosting the elasticity. the result is volumised, shiny locks that are easy to manage and style. I also love that you can notice the difference after the first use and that the results last until your next wash.

The Philip Kingsley Geranium and Neroli Elasticizer costs £19 and is available from Marks and Spencer’s website.

Have you tried the Philip Kingsley Elasticizer before? What’s your favourite hair mask to use?

I absolutely adore this too and use it no end. Only, I do use it as a pre-wash as I don’t like hanging around between shampoo and conditioning in the shower – I used to sit with it on in the sauna at my old gym but my new gym doesn’t have one.. :(. Lovely product. It really does work and this fragrance is simply tops. Tx

Oooh, this looks like a gorgeous product! I must have missed the hype as this is the first time I’ve seen it. Love the packaging and I’d love to see how it works on my hair.
