Real Technique Instapop Collection

Now I’ll be the first to admit that I own more makeup brushes than I’ll ever need. Now it could be because I’m too lazy to clean my brushes every week. But I just can’t resist a new set of brushes. There’s something pretty special about using a brush for the first time. I’m definitely addicted to that feeling! It would explain why I have so many brushes. And more specifically, so many Real techniques brushes. They honestly must account for at least 80% of my makeup brush collection. And this new Real Techniques Instapop Collection is a great addition to my ever expanding range of brushes.

The new Real Technique Instapop Collection has been designed for the application of powdered products. The brush’s head offers a sloped flat surface that makes applying makeup easier than ever. Although they are designed for powered makeup, you can also use these with creams and liquids too. Each of the three brush options features the classic Real techniques colour code system. Purple for eyes, pink for finishing touches and gold for the base. There are four brushes in the range, but my most used are below:

Instapop Face Brush £10.99

This is the largest of the Instapop brushes, and the full brush head allows for a very quick application across the face. I don’t tend to use powder foundations and instead use a liquid foundation, but this brush works just as well as my usual expert face brush from the brand. Not only that, but the tapered brush edge actually makes it a lot easier to clean – which is a massive bonus for me!

Instapop Cheek Brush £8.99

As the medium brush in the collection, I have to say the rounded, but tapered head fits perfectly onto the apples of the cheeks for the perfect pop of colour. It’s also great at letting you control how much product you want to apply without going overboard. And also allows you to blend for a seamless finish.

Instapop Eye Brush £10.99

So this is the smallest of the Instapop collection and although it comes as a duo, I find I get far more use of this smaller brush. Not only can you use it pack on colour on your lid. But the tapered edge is perfect for defining the crease.

What do you think of the Real Techniques Instapop Collection, are you a fan of their brushes?

I’m almost embarrassed to admit I only have two brushes, and they’re about 15 years old each, lol! I should perhaps treat myself to some of these nice new ones!

I love real techniques makeup brushes, they work so well and really rival the high end brands out there xxx

I really like the style of these brushes. But a little pricey for my budget.

I regularly change my brushes because I feel they get manky quite quickly. And I’m so fussy about getting the right feel about them. These look fab, and I love the coloured handles.

I definitely need some new brushes, especially a blusher brush. Love the pop of colour on the handles of these. Will look out for the cheek blush

These brushes are beautiful, I have recently got a new set from my other half but I will definitely look into these when it is time to update them.

I love real techniques brushes, I think they’re definitely a staple make up addition, no matter what your make up skill level is.
