It may be July and the weather may not be quite what we’d expect at this time of year. But it hasn’t stopped me getting into the summer mood. And that includes finding a new summer fragrance, or two, to enjoy. For me, fragrances are such a personal thing. What smells a certain way on you could smell completely different on someone else. And you can tell so much about a woman by the scent she wears. Whether she chooses to go for a fun fruity and floral fragrance or sensual musky scent. For me, I like a mixture of both. I like to wear eau de toilette for a light scent but then the eau de parfums are perfect for when you want a heavier fragrance. Sof if you’re looking for some new summer scents, here are two new fragrances to fall in love with this summer.
Elizabeth Arden White Tea 100ml £36
Now I have to admit, that while I rely on Elizabeth Arden for their fab skin care and beauty products. I wasn’t too familiar with their fragrance offering. Until I tried this. And now I’m hooked. It’s inspired by the simple pleasure that accompanies the first sip of tea. And it’s just exquisitely uncomplicated. Like summer should be. It’s definitely more on the woody floral side of scents. With a lovely mix of white tea-extract, Turkish rose and Madras wood. But I love that it’s a light, clean and fresh fragrance that is also warming. Just perfect for summer! You can get yours here.
Ghost Sweetheart Forever 50ml £34
I have to say that Ghost probably does some of the prettiest fragrance bottles around. I love the slim design that sits perfectly on my dressing table. And this new one from them is ticking all the boxes for me. With top notes of sweet lemon, spearmint and pineapple. Heart notes of rose and jasmine and base notes of caramel and tonka bean. The result is a gorgeous sweet but fresh and clean fragrance with creamy but musky tones that are perfect for summer. It’s refreshing, it’s sweet and it’s uplifting. You can get yours here.

I adore Elizabeth Arden scents and I didn’t realise they actually had a new one out! I’ll definitely go and have a smell of this next time I’m out shopping.

My mum loves Elizabeth Arden so I’ll need to keep an eye on the new one. To be honest I don’t really switch up my fragrances in the summer, I’m lucky if I remember to put them on at all x
My mum loves the Ghost Deep Night perfume, but the Sweetheart Forever perfume sounds completely different – much more my cup of tea. I love tonka bean!

Ghost is one of my all time favourite fragrance brands and I have three of the range. I haven’t tried this one out yet but it sounds so delicious that I need to pop to Boots and give it a try!
The Turkish rose in the Elizabeth Arden White Tea sounds intriguing- must hunt it down for my mummy!!

I always use a cheap perfume from Next, it’s nice and reminds me of holidays but I haven’t bought anything new in a long time, will have to look out for these and try a tester! I love how stylish and simple the bottles are!
