Taking a chance on Chanel

Happy Monday everyone! Now I’m not sure about you. But when it comes to fragrances and perfumes I can be a creature of habit. Now don’t get me wrong. Part of being a blogger is getting to try new things. And while I love the opportunity to test and try out lots of different fragrances. On a day to day basis, I tend to just stick to my favourites. Why? Because I’m a creature of habit.

I guess you could say I’m in a bit of fragrance rut. But earlier this summer I had the chance to go to an event with the Perfume Shop and find out a little bit more about them. They’re total fragrance aficionados by the way. And they have access to a great app that helps you find a new fragrance. Because it can be a bit daunting trying to find a new signature scent. This app takes the fragrances you love already. And finds you a new one in the same fragrance family. So if you’re a lover of fruity floral scents. Then the app will find you a new one based on the same fruity floral scents that you love.

Seeing as my absolute favourite everyday scent is Marc Jacobs Eau So Fresh, I was intrigued to see what the app would come back for me. And number one on the list was Chanel Chance. Now although I’d tried this fragrance before, I’d dismissed it on the basis that it didn’t smell like anything I’d usually pick. But the app proved me wrong. Based on the fragrances I love, Chanel Chance was the perfect scent for me and similar to other scents I love.

If you’ve not tried Chancel Chance before, then it’s definitely worth a spritz next time you’re passing the counter. It’s a beautiful floral fragrance that intertwines Pink Pepper, Jasmine and Amber Patchouli. For a beautiful floral, but spicy, sensual and rich scent that lasts throughout the day.

If you’re looking for your next signature scent but not sure what to try. Then definitely take a trip to the Perfume Shop to see what they can find for you.

You can find the Chanel perfumes here.

As always thank you to Kaye for taking the pictures!

Chance is my favourite fragrance ever. I wore it on my first date with my hubby so he loves it too! x

I love Chanel Chance, I first bought some at the airport on the way to a girly weekend in Dublin. The smell always reminds me of that weekend away. Intrigued by the app you mention as I’m looking for a new perfume.

I love the scent of this but it doesn’t suit my skin at all, it smells foul, it is such a lovely scent though x

I was trying out perfumes not so long ago, for my daughter’s birthday. I tried Chance, and think it’s adorable. A really pretty scent, without being too overpowering. I found that after some time (a walk about town), it had improved even more.

I’ve never tried Chanel before but I love the sound of this fragrance as the pink pepper and jasmine sounds amazing. I normally love to wear d&c number 18 or Cheryl’s stormflower!

This has to be one of my all time favourite scents. I need to get a new bottle actually. The app sounds good, must check it out.
