The Balm Autobalm California Palette

I actually received this palette as a secret Santa gift back at Christmas and although I’ve not tried anything from The Balm before, after using The Balm Autobalm California Palette I think I’ll be looking into trying more of their products.

Let’s start with the cute packaging. The vintage feel really reminds me of Benefit makeup and I love that this palette is designed to look like a Californian driving licence. It’s small but has everything covered, from a blush and highlighter to a matte and shimmer shadow.

The blush is a lovely coral/pink shades that works well for a natural everyday look. I found that the highlighter has just enough shimmer and pigmentation to highlight the checks well. And both eyeshadows were very easy to blend. The matte brown looks lovely as a base while the darker brown with shimmer works well as a smokey eye or as a liner.

As the palette is compact with a mirror it makes it very easy to travel with or just throw into your handbag for a top up throughout the day. I find myself using this more and more at the moment as it’s such a handy little palette with the basics that I need in.

The Balm Autobalm California Palette is available from Feel Unique for £16.50.

Yay, finally able to access your site! I agree, that palette does have that vintage, Benefit feel to it. I love the color of that blush, looks lovely! And I like the fact that it doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. Thanks for the review
