Now I don’t know about you, but although I love shopping. And I think we can all agree that I love shopping. One thing I don’t love is the endless scrolling through all my favourite brand sites. I find myself spending hours scrolling through one website, adding items to a basket or a wishlist. Then clicking on another site to see if they have exactly what it is I’m looking for. When in reality what I’m really looking for is just inspiration and someone to do the leg work for me. Well that’s where Thread come in.

They’ve combined expert stylists with clever AI technology to curate personalised outfits ideas from over 800 brands. So goodbye endless scrolling, and hello personal stylist. It’s a genius idea and one that I was incredibly excited to try out.

You start by adding in your sizing details, as well as your proportions. So are your shoulders broader or narrower than average etc. As well as picking existing looks that you already like the look of. You can also complete a quick survey about patterns you like, lengths you prefers, do you like big or small logos etc to get a completely personalised recommendation. Your personal stylist will then send you a selection of looks every week. You can then add the whole look to your basket. Or go back to the site to have a browse yourself.

And one of the best things is that as you’ve add in your clothing size, if you click on a brand to browse their items. They’ll only show you the ones in your size. So no more falling in love with something only to see that your size is out of stock, never to return.

For my first look, I opted for something that would see me through the Autumn/Winter season. And that’s these wool blend jersey trousers from Arket. With a relaxed stripped jumper, also from Arket. I’m a sucker for breton stripes and this jumper is amazing quality. Admittedly, I should have sized up in the jumper. I picked up the M, when I think I would be more comfortable in the L. But the trousers are perfect. As their wool, they are a little heavier, which I like, as I think that suits me and my body a little better.

Overall, I love the look I picked, and I also love the service from Thread. This feels like such a great and sustainable way to shop for clothes that you know will suit you, and make you feel good.

If you’re loving the sound of Thread, then here is £20 off a £75 shop, as well as 20% off your first order, exclusively for you! Happy Shopping!
