Three new mascaras to try

When it comes to makeup one of the products that I just cannot live without is mascara. Even on no makeup days I still reach for the mascara just to make my eyes look more awake. I love that mascaras can add length, volume and depth to your lashes but finding the right one can be tough. So many claim to deliver amazing results yet fall short on delivery. So let me share with you all three new mascaras that are worth trying out.

Avon Big & Multiplied Mascara

Avon Big & Multiplied mascara

Avon have hailed this as their first triple threat mascara, claiming it can detangle, separate and add volume to your lashes. And I have to say I really love it. With Smart Slip Technology this formula sticks to your lashes, not itself.  It also has a thicker brush which I love as it means the wand can works to separate my lashes rather than clump them together. I love the bigger lash effect you get when using this mascara and I’m really impressed that this is from Avon.

Illamasqua Masquara Gain Mascara

Illamasqua Masquara Gain Mascara

I haven’t used too many Illamasqua mascara’s in the past, just this one and Masquaura. But I have to say I love them both.  This mascara uses new technology which will naturally tint your lashes which means that over a period of 14 days of using this mascara, your lashes will still appear blacker than black. Aside from the amazing technology, this mascara adds serious volume and length to my lashes. I’m yet to be disappointed by Illamsaqua products and this one is no different.

L’Oréal Paris Mega Volume Miss Hippie Mascara

L'Oréal Paris Mega Volume Miss Hippie Mascara

This is the latest mascara from L’Oréal Paris and it’s one of my favourites. This mascara is meant to give you festival ready lashes. Now I’m not sure what festival lashes should look like but this mascara does give your lashes a gorgeous feathery look. The mega fuzzy brush with kaleidoscopic bristles coats your lashes, layer by layer for a feathery lash look while the formula adds volume and thickens the look of your lashes.

Have you tried any of these mascara’s? What’s your favourite mascara to use?

I haven’t bought Avon products for years, however, these were my first beauty products to try and I remember loving every single product! I always forget that Avon exists, eventhough I read a nice review recently about their new lipsticks! The mascara sounds amazing, I am yet on the hunt to find my favourite 🙂

Can I be honest? I never wear mascara! I really, really should. But when I was really little I stole my sister’s and ended up getting a stye! (EW) My own fault – karma came to get me haha. The illamasqua one does sound good. I tend to like their products anyway, like you I don’t think I’ve ever been disappointed by their products. I’ll have to pluck up the courage to try them haha!

The Miss Hippie mascara sounds wonderful, I am curious to see what “feathery lashes” actually look like though, in my mind it looks amazing but reality might be a different story x

Avon – such a blast from the past, I used to use it all the time, but now never think of it as an option. Thanks for reminding me.

It’s really bad but I have never thought to get anything from Avon yet recently I have seen so many people rave about their products. I love a mascara that claims it does more than one thing.
