Happy Friday everyone! Now when it comes to makeup, I’m not sure it gets more luxurious than Chanel. I mean as a brand they are the epitome of luxury right? Which is why I’ve been wanting to try their products for ages. And while I was browsing in the Fabled store in London last week. Which is amazing by the way! I couldn’t resist picking up two of the Chanel ILLUSION D’OMBRE Long Wear Luminous Eyeshadows.
Now for those of you who don’t know, Fabled is not only as online shopping destination run by Marie Claire, but they also have a physical shop in London. Which is pretty much like the UK Sephora. Not only does it stock an amazing array of brands, including Chanel, Benefit, Nars, Urban Decay etc. But alongside the brand ambassadors for the different hair, makeup and skincare sections. But it also have independent Fabled ambassadors who can help you with whatever you’re looking for.
So while you may think someone from the Urban Decay counter is only going to recommend a product from their range. The independent Fabled ambassador is there to recommend the best product for you. Regardless of which brand it’s from. Plus the online beauty editor from Fabled has put together edits within the shop for you to see which is the best red lipstick when it comes to longevity. Or which mascara is going to give you that false lash effect.
But back to the Chanel ILLUSION D’OMBRE Long Wear Luminous Eyeshadows. Now these are just beautiful! Which is what you expect from Chanel right? Now I love a good cream eyeshadow. As someone with oily lids – I know attractive right?! I need a good cream shadows that is going to fight the oil and stay in place all day. And these do!
I picked up two of the colours – 95 Mirage which is a gorgeous gold shade. And

Beautiful shades I love both of them as they will go with day or evening makeup.
I wish I could even consider buying something this luxurious but then I never wear the makeup I do have LOL they look amazing though!

Basically dribbling right now. I’ve not tried an Chanel eye shadows before – I’ve got a lovely lip liner though and have had some skin care products in the past which were gorgeous.
Both of these shades are amazingly beautiful. I don’t have any Chanel products but I would love to try some of them at some point.
I couldn’t agree more that is really a nice product. I love make-ups but I go for those who are with quality and affordable brands. I wish to have this brand though.

I really like the Illusoire color, it so suits me and my style. I love Chanel mostly for their perfumes, as I don’t have any of their make-up items yet. I find them a bit out of my budget.
I have one of these and its such a lovely product I don’t know why I’ve never picked up more. I remember wearing it once and a Chanel sales assistant complimented me on my eyeshadow!
