Two to try from Collection

When it comes to makeup, I love it all. I love the luxury packing and campaigns that come with high end makeup but I also love not spending a lot on products that perform. I’m a great believer that while it’s great to spend loads of money on expensive makeup, sometimes there are cheaper alternatives out there that do the job as well, if not better. This is why I’m a big fan of Collection Cosmetics. They produce trend led, fashion-forward makeup at affordable prices and every product I try, I love. Which is why I wanted to share with you all two to try from Collection.

Lasting Perfection Powder £4.19

I use powders on a daily basis as a way to set my makeup and stop the dreaded 3pm shine attack. And this one from Collection is great to use on the go. The acrylic packaging comes complete with a sponge and mirror, which is pretty impressive seeing as it costs less than a fiver. The powder itself is extremely soft and creamy and doesn’t feel dry, hard or chalky like other pressed powders can. And the pigmentation is impressive. It adds coverage when used alone, or on tip of my foundation and sets my makeup in place for a good eight hours.

Gorgeous Glow £3.99

I love a good bronze highlighter and this one is just gorgeous. It’s very similar to the Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick – just a fraction of the price. And ideal for contouring, creating flawless cheekbones and adding a general glow. Despite the low price tag, the formula is velvety-soft and so easy to blend. But it is highly pigmented. So apply with caution as a little really does go a long way. You can use the colours separately or you can mix them together for a soft bronze glow.
