Now I don’t know about you. But when it comes to eyeshadow palettes. You can never really have enough can you? Well, I definitely can’t. And as soon as I laid eyes on the new Urban Decay Holiday 2017 collection. There was only one star of the show for me. And that’s the Heavy Metals Palette. And isn’t is a beauty?

Now as someone who loves, and I mean LOVES, their shimmer eyeshadows this is the palette of my dreams. As the Urban Decay Heavy Metals Palette is all about the shimmer! It’s a limited edition palette packed with 20 of Urban Decay’s most amped-up metallic shadows yet. And the best part? Every single one is new!

But not only are the shades new colours, but it’s a whole new eyeshadow formula too! Urban Decay have bumped up the foiled effect to create what has to be, their most metallic shadows ever. Every shade is super soft, with a creamy texture that creates an intense, metallic effect. Plus the colour pay off is just insane, and they blend like a dream. And what’s more the shades are neatly organised too. With brights on the left, and neutrals on the right.
The shadows include:

Ground metallic black with an iridescent shimmer | Spandex metallic deep blue with a purple shift and blue micro-sparkle | Metalhead metallic deep purple | Mullet metallic deep green | Twisted metallic gold

Aluminum metallic warm gray-taupe with an iridescent micro-sparkle | Dive metallic medium blue | Punk Rock metallic fuchsia | Amp metallic bright teal | Glamrock metallic silver

Bass metallic bronze | Demo metallic bronze-rose | Afterparty metallic red | Roadie metallic burgundy | Scream metallic mauve

Glory metallic golden bronze | Starfire metallic bright copper | Angelfire metallic pale pink | Maiden metallic beige | Acoustic metallic nude
I have to say I love this palette. But I knew I would. I’m definitely a shimmer and metallic tone kinda girl. And this palette has everything a fellow shimmer and metallic lover would love. Plus the packaging is just beautiful. I haven’t seen a palette like this before. I love the fact that you have to pull out the shadows and use it like a painter’s palette. All the shades are wearable colours and the new formula ensures that these colours really pop on your lids.

The Urban Decay Heavy Metals Palette is limited edition. So if you want it, I’d grab it quickly before it sells out. You can get it here for £43.
What do you think of this palette? Is it the kind of palette you’d use?

Now these look fun. I love the shimmer which is perfect with Christmas parties on their way. I am loving the gold and browns especially.
Wow, £43! You can tell that I don’t wear make-up as I see a night in an Airbnb for that price! The blues and teals are gorgeous colours though, I can imagine that they look great blended together for a party look and the packaging is nicely designed too. However nice they are, I don’t think I’ll be switching my Airbnb habit for make-up any time soon though 😉
The minute I saw this palette on UD’s instagram I knew I had to have it and luckily Santa (ie my husband) is feeling very generous this year! Can’t wait to try out the colours, they look INSANE.

The colours in this palette look so amazing! I’m just not sure I love the packaging of the whole thing – I kind of wish it was more compact! xx
Oh wow this palette is absolutely stunning! I love the warmer shades on the right hand side, they’re lush! xxx
This is absolutely gorgeous – my daughters would absolutely love it! Kaz
These look really nice. I loved that you showed the swatches of the colours.
I really love the colour palettes that come out for holiday season. I love metallics and the vibrant colours. So this palette is fab, and would certainly be one I would buy for myself. The blues are amazing.
Omg I absolutely love it! There is so much range in this palette – a colour for every occasion. I love metallics too!
I would definitely use this, the colours are all so wearable. The metallics are perfect for Christmas too.
Impressive looking palette but then again its to be expected from UD, I do love the brown colours, I wear those when I actually wear makeup
