What’s in my beach bag

I’m hoping that by the time you read this, I will be sunning myself on a luxurious beach in Turkey. Well that’s the plan anyway. So, seeing as I’m away this week on my holidays, I thought I’d share with you all, what’s in my beach bag.

The bag itself is from Debenhams, I picked up for about £25 last summer. For me, it’s the perfect summer beach bag, it’s slouchy it’s big, and the pattern is gorgeous.

So what’s in my beach bag?

A beach towel, this pink beach towel came from BHS I think a few years ago, I only use it when I’m holiday, and it’s lasted very well over the years.

A magazine, there is nothing nicer than laying on a sunbed, reading a magazine. I find holidays are the ideal time to catch up on all the magazines I buy but don’t get to read

Headphones, unlike the Beats that I take on the plane, I prefer the white in ear headphones for the beach. They’re a lot smaller and easy to throw into the bag

Kindle, once I’m done with the magazines, it’s time to dig into the Kindle. I never really have time to read when I’m not on holiday, so while I’m lazing on the beach I like to make up for it by reading a few books on my holidays

Suncream, this is a must have for me. I’m not blessed with gorgeous olive skin and instead tend to burn quiet easily, so I can’t risk not carrying suncream with me everywhere. I have a BB face cream in factor 30, a regular body cream in factor 15 and then a Malibu spray to protect my scalp from burning. All three are kept in this cute beach bag from Primark. It’s perfect for carrying suncream in by the pool, as it’s water resistant and any suncream related spillages can be easily wiped clean.

Sunglasses, these also featured in my whats in my plane bag video. I picked these glasses up from Boots last year, and the sunglasses pouch is from Dorothy Perkins.
