Yves Rocher haircare

Yves Rocher haircare

I’ve been making a conscious effort lately to mix up my haircare routine. My hair has been looking and feeling a little flat lately and I think it’s because I’m using the same products over and over again. So I thought I’d change it up by trying something new.

Yves Rocher is a new brand for me, but I quite like their haircare products. They’re a little different to what I would normally buy but I’m loving the results so far. I’ve been using the Delicate Cleansing Cream Low Shampoo*, the Eclat Radiance Rinsing Vinegar* and the Monoi De Tahiti Lagoon hair and body wash*.

Let’s start with the shampoo. Now this is a little different to most shampoos I’ve tried in the past. It’s a ‘low’ shampoo which means it doesn’t foam like you would expect but it does mean that it is rich in cleansing agents. Also unlike other shampoos you need to spread this product through your hair from the roots to the ends, like you would with a conditioner. Now it does take a little getting used to, but every time I’ve used it my hair has felt incredibly clean afterwards. Which in turn has made it easier to style and given my hair more volume as it has cleansed away any product build up that was weighing it down.

Next onto the rinsing vinegar which thankfully does not smell of vinegar. Instead it smells of berries, which is a much better scent in my opinion. This type of product is new to me. I’d never heard of a rinsing vinegar before and did wonder what it would do. You apply it after you shampoo, leave for a few minutes then rinse off with water. The consistency is like vinegar so it wasn’t the easiest of products to apply to your hair, but after using this my hair did feel softer and looked shinier than usual. So I think this might be a permanent fixture in my haircare routine from now on.

Finally onto the hair and body wash. I’m always a bit sceptical about products that claim to be for your hair and body, as surely it can’t be formulated for both. But this product is designed to remove every trace of sand and sun cream. I only used this as a body wash but loved the tropical flower smell. It left my skin feeling soft and nourished so this will definitely be coming with me on my next holiday.

All the products mentioned are available from the Yves Rocher website.

Have you tried any of the Yves Rocher haircare product before? What’s your current favourite haircare product?

I haven’t tried any Yves Rocher hair products before, but I do like to mix up my shampoo as I find using the same brand leaves my hair feeling and looking flat as well.

If you can, you should try their low shampoo then, it’s really helped to add some volume to my hair x

I used to use Yves Rocher years ago; they’ve been around a very long time and I remember they were the forerunners of gentle organic type products back in the 70’s and 80’s. I’d happily give their products a go again – not too sure about the vinegar hair rinse though!

It’s not as bad as it sounds, just an odd product to try but worth it for the results x

I’ve not tried Yves products at all, they sound great! I’m unlucky enough to suffer with psoriasis on the scalp, so it’s rare that I get to try amazing products like this! If I do it’s only like once a month! Any other time I have to use medicated shampoo, but next time I get to pick myself out a treat, I think I’m certainly going to consider buying Yves! Great post xx

I’ve never tried the yves rocher products but find I need to change my shampoo every so often as my hair starts to go all flat too! I always end up going back to good all Aussie products!

I love the Aussie stuff as well. It’s either that or L’Oreal that are my old favourites x

I get my hair washed and blow dried at a salon once a week, so i don’t switch my products up.
If i do have to wash my own hair, i normally use what ever my daughter has, which is normally herbal essences, because she loves the smells. xx

These products smell quite similar to Herbal Essences, they’ve got a lovely exotic fruity smell x
