10 whole years. I’ve been writing this blog for a whole decade now. And what a decade it has been. I know I’ve this story multiple times before but when I started this blog back over the festive period in 2012. I did it as a way to combine my three passions – photography, writing and beauty. I never for one second thought that 10 years later, I would still be writing this blog.

Now over those 10 years this blog has evolved. I still cover beauty but as I’ve changed and grown so has this blog. In the time of having this blog, I’ve changed jobs way too many times, brought my own place, travelled to more countries than I can count, and spent more that I should have on growing my handbag collection. So naturally the blog has evolved to reflect those new interests.

Back when I started this blog, I would have never guessed the kind of opportunities this small space on the internet would bring. I’ve been invited to some of the most epic parties, got to meet some of the most incredible people and have some amazing experiences. All thanks to my little blog.

While so many people might think that blogging is dead, it’s honestly still one of the things that gives me so much pleasure to do. Even if the opportunities and pr products stopped tomorrow. I know I would still blog. Why? Because I love it. And when you love something it doesn’t feel like work.

So if blogging still exists in 10 years time, I really hope I’m still blogging. Here’s to the future, whatever it may hold!
