11 things to do this spring

Now I don’t know about you, but having spent what feels like forever in lockdown over the winter months. I can’t believe we’re in spring and April already. But I’m not complaining. Spring is one of my favourite seasons, it just feels like a breath of fresh air, especially after the cold, colourless winter we’ve had. And with lockdown and restrictions easing over the coming weeks I can’t wait to head back out to embrace the warmer weather, lighter days and spring flowers.

For me, that means falling back in love with blogging, continuing on my journey to a healthier and happier me, and spending time with those that matter the most to me. Like most people, I don’t actually have a lot of stuff booked in yet, but I can’t wait to once again have a full diary. I think lockdown has really made me realise to never take a full diary for granted again. But aside from that I also have some things that I want to achieve this season. So here are 11 things to do this spring:

  1. Buy yourself fresh flowers
  2. Head to that brunch spot you’ve been wanting to try for ages
  3. Buy a new plant or two to add some greenery to your home
  4. Add some new pieces to your seasonal wardrobe
  5. Have a picnic in your local park
  6. Take evening walks when the sun is slowly setting
  7. Have a good “spring clean” of your home and belongings
  8. Pick a new book to read
  9. Eat a meal outside when the weather is nice
  10. Take a stroll and visit any some of your local shops
  11. Spend a weekend exploring somewhere new

So that’s my list of 11 things to do this spring. What do you think of this list? What are you most excited about for Spring? Are you planning on achieving much this season?

That’s such a great list. I’ll try to check off as many as I can. I love having daffodils in the house at this time of year, and they’re so inexpensive, so there’s the first one ticked off!

These are such great ideas! I will definitely be buying new plants, and trying out a new seasonal recipe is a great idea I’ll be trying! I am always looking for an excuse to buy new wardrobe pieces too, so a new season is a good reason I think!

Love this post as its not been feeling much like spring to me atm. I’ll definitely be doing these first stop is to get myself some colourful flowers to brighten up the living room.

These are all lovely ideas! I’ve already started on getting more flowers and plants for the house and it gives it a much more ‘homey’ feel. Time to get cracking on the wardrobe though because I mostly live in black and grey… not exactly spring colours!

Fab list! I completely agree that you sometimes we need to embrace the free time and not worry too much about making our diary feel full. I am looking forward to a good spring clean and refreshing my wardrobe! x
