Now I don’t know about you, but I’m really hoping 2022 is a different year to the previous two. I started 2020 with such positivity that it was going to be my year of travel and adventures. And well, I don’t need to tell you how well that turned out. 2021 was also a positive start, although the year did begin in a lockdown. And while last year was great for getting to do a lot more and see more people. I’m really hoping that just gets amped up in 2022. So if you’re interested, here are my 2022 plans.
First up is travel. And while my first trip of the year has already been cancelled. I am optimistic that I’ll still get to abroad more than once this year. Firstly I’m hoping to be back in Portugal in March. At the same resort I was in back in March 2020. Hopefully this time, it’ll be a better experience. I then have a work trip to Croatia planned for May. Paris in August (which was meant to be this month but we move). Before having my big holiday in Las Vegas in September! Fingers crossed it all works out.
Next on my plans is to get out more. Now I’ve always been a homebody but over the past couple of years I’ve definitely spent way more time at home. And also stayed in more even when restrictions ended. I really want to push myself to step out of my comfort zone and start doing more days out on my own. Too often, I want to visit somewhere but think I have to have someone to come with me. When the reality is I really don’t.
And then my final 2022 plan is to get my place organised and updated. I’ve lived here now for almost four years and in that time, I’ve started to update the place. But with a goal of hopefully moving at some point in the next two years I want to get it updated and fresh for a potential sale. But we’ll see. I still need to actually save for the extortionate cost of moving!
