Happy Monday everyone! It’s officially December which means it’s time to get into the festive spirit. And this year, I am feeling more Christmassy than normal. And I’m not sure why. December has always been my favourite month. And this is definitely my favourite time of the time. Not only is it my birthday month, but it’s also Christmas! And I’m really feeling the festive spirit at the moment. All my presents are bought, and wrapped (yes, I am one of THOSE people). My cards will be out in the post this week. And my tree is up! And this year, my tree is looking a little different.
This year I’ve gone rouge and gone for a white tree. Now I know some people really don’t like white trees. But personally, I love them. Especially as this year’s tree decorations are all jewel toned. Which personally, I think looks better, and stands out, on a white tree. Compared to a regular, traditional green one anyway.
And I wanted to share with you some of my favourite decorations. Now I have to admit, some of these decorations were purchased a while ago. In fact, I’ve been building a stash of beautiful tree decorations for a while. I was just waiting for the right tree to put them on. And this one from Christmas Tree World. Is that tree. Now I don’t have a lot of space so I opted for a slim 7ft pre-lit tree. And it’s perfect.
And in terms of the decorations. While some of them were bought a while ago, I also added a lot of new ones to my collection from Amara, Including the beautiful peacocks, hummingbirds and blue feathered birds. All in the lovely jewel-tones I’m obsessed with at the moment. And all reasonably priced too.

You have a wonderful tree with such beautiful decorations! I love how they sparkle. I am not putting up the tree this year because I won’t be home for Christmas so there is nobody to enjoy it.
I love decorating at Christmas, though I never go over the top. I love those hummingbirds and peacocks!
I think a slim tree is a really good idea – we always end up having to move furniture around to fit ours in!

Those decorations are beautiful! I’ve never even thought about getting a white tree. I work in retail so the festive mood started for me a while ago what with the christmas music and seasonal stock! x

This is such a beautiful tree. I bought a new one last year, but I wasn’t happy with it, so I need to get a wriggle on and treat myself to a new one!
