Hello June | Merry Musing

Now I feel like I need to start with an apology. May was a VERY quiet month for me on the blog. In fact, I think I only managed to squeeze in two posts. Which is frankly, just shocking. Back when I started this little space on the internet I was posting a lot more. During what I like to call my peak years – 2016-2017 FYI. I was posting five new blog posts a week, PLUS two videos. Looking back now I really don’t know how I managed that. But I loved posting that much. My job wasn’t that demanding, I still lived at home, I had a lot more time and energy to dedicate to this little space. Now, I’m adulting a lot more. My job is more full-on, I live on my own and my energy levels are in need of a boost. But I still enjoy blogging. It’s still the best hobby ever and it’s bought me so many amazing experiences. I honestly, I wouldn’t be in my job without it.

Which is why I want to spend June dedicating more time and energy into this blog. I’ve worked too hard over the past six plus years, to just let it fall by the wayside. And while May was full of distractions, mainly Game of Thrones and work trips. June feels like the right time to clear the diary and put in the effort to really nurture this little space.

So what else happened in May? Well personally it was a little up and down but work wise it was full-on! It was also a good month for trying something new. I spent the day at Balance Festival in London with my sister-in-law and enjoyed a couple of tough gym classes, including Barry’s Bootcamp. Which is probably the toughest class I’ve ever done! But the plan this month is to get back into the gym. Back into spinning. And just back into taking a bit better care of myself.

So that’s my plan for June, what do you have planned for the coming month?

We’ve all been there! Sometimes taking some time out or doing a bit of a media blackout helps you prep a bunch of posts in advance I find x
