Nail polishes for summer

Nail polishes for summer

Summer is literally just around the corner, I can feel it. It’s June, I’m off on holiday at the end of the week and festival season is upon us. Which is why I wanted to do this post. I shared with you all a few months ago my nail polishes for spring, which went down really well. So I thought I’d share with you all today my nail polishes for summer.

So far this year two nail polish collections have really caught my attention. The Barry M Sunset Daylight Curing nail paints and the Rita Ora for Rimmel Colourfest Collection. Both of these ranges are full of gorgeous summery shades and these are some of my favourites.

Now starting with the Rita Ora for Rimmel Colour Collection. This is just a gorgeous festival inspired range with 12 seriously summery shades. The three I have are Glastonberry, which is the blood orange red, Peachella, which is the pastel peach shade and Roll in the Grass, a gorgeous green colour. All the polishes in this collection offer a high impact and shiny colour. Plus the wider brush also makes it easy to apply evenly onto the nails and the 60 second drying formula means that your nails are touch dry in no time.

Next up is the Barry M Sunset Daylight Curing polishes. These polishes make it easier for you to recreate a gel inspired manicure without the need for a UV lamp or a professional. With seven shades to choose from, along with the transparent topcoat, these polishes are ideal for a long lasting nail look this summer. I have three of these, I’ve Been Pinkin which is best described as a Barbie pink, Like A Nude which is a pinky pale cream shade and For The Stars, a bright coral colour.

So these have been my favourite nail polishes for summer. What nail polish and shades are you looking forward to wearing this summer?

I love bright colours for my nails in the summer so the Rimmel Glastonberry and pink shade are right up my street.

I absolutely ADORE the peachella shade infact it matches my peach beach line boat shoe which I am currently in love with! Great post and you are way BETTER at painting nails than me!

I love all of these shades. Difficult to decide on a favourite. I tend to prefer brighter colours because my skin is so pale
