When it comes to eating out, Italian food is probably one of my favourite cuisines. And one of my favourite places to eat is normally Jamie’s Italian. It’s just a great restaurant with a fab menu, good service and really not far from me – which always helps! Which is why I was really intrigued by the new Jamie’s Italian Pizzeria Experience. Essentially the Pizzeria restaurant is next door to your regular Jamie’s Italian and serves just one thing – pizza. Well it actually serves a little more than just pizza as there are starters and puddings but when it comes to main, your choice is pizza. Which I’m really not complaining about as I LOVE pizza!
The atmosphere of the pizzeria is really chilled out, like you would expect from an authentic pizzeria restaurant in Italy. I love the mix of wood and tiles and the small tables gives the restaurant a cost feel. The only downside for me is that the restaurant is quite dark – but that’s only a problem as I wanted to take pictures of my food #bloggerproblems.
Speaking of food the pizza is pretty impressive here. Although the menu isn’t extensive, you’re bound to find a pizza you’ll love. I went for Italian Hot while my friends when for Margherita and Spicy Meatball. We also opted for two versions of the garlic bread for starters but due to a mix up in the kitchen these didn’t arrive until we’d almost finished our pizzas. We went for the plain garlic bread and then the one with Prosciutto di Parma. Both of these were amazing!
It was then time for pudding and although we’d eaten garlic bread and pizza, there’s always room for pudding right? Plus I couldn’t turn down the Epic Chocolate Brownie. Now this really was epic with ice cream, chocolate sauce and popcorn! I don’t think you need me to tell you it was delicious but it was seriously delicious.
I really enjoyed the menu in Jamie’s Italian Pizzeria and would definitely go back again. It’s a cool, quirky place that is perfect if you just want pizza. Which I seem to do most weekends!

I didn’t actually know Jamie’s Italian had pizzerias! I love Jamies, I am always in the Cardiff branch.The pizza above looks so good, I would certainly visit if there was one near me.

I don’t know where our nearest one is but I do love a good pizza – who doesn’t, right? I also like Jamie’s food (well, the few recipes I’ve recreated from a couple of his cook books). These pizzas look really authentic and tasty, even in the dim lighting – which would actually suit me on a bad face day 😉 Tx

I keep nagging my husband about Jamie Italian restaurant, I been there on my own and had the nicest pizza ever . But I want to go there with my husband – he keep saying to me you been to onep izza palce you been them all, what so special? Men!!
