A bedroom refresh

A bedroom refresh

Now I don’t know about you, but I can’t believe it’s been a whole year since I decorated my place. The time has just flown by! Now if you can’t remember what it looked like before, you can see the original post I did on decorating my bedroom here. And while I still love the mix of pinks and greys, I really wanted to add a little bit more colour into the space. Which is what prompted a bedroom refresh.

For me, the refresh tarted with the introduction of these gorgeous blue tone prints. I’ve kept the same style of the three prints above the bed, I’ve just swapped out the pink geometric designs. For these blue watercolour style prints. All three are from Desenio, which is where the original pink ones were from. And it’s a place I would highly recommend for affordable but stylish artwork.

The navy colour theme continued with the introduction of two new navy cushions and navy pillowcases. My previous pink cushion covers were from H&M, and that’s exactly where I picked up these navy velvet ones from. I love how soft they are, but also how affordable they are too. The navy pillowcases are the Egyptian cotton ones from John Lewis and I love having the pop of colour creeping through the rest of the crisp white bedding.

They final part of this bedroom refresh is the new throw. Which isn’t actually navy. It’s grey. But I thought the tones and geometric shapes went well with the same grey cushion. And I feel the colour really compliments the navy tones. This is from Dunelm and was a bargain price of £15!

What do you think of this bedroom refresh? Are you tempted to refresh your bedroom for the summer?

Loving how you have refreshed the look of your room with just a few changes, Desenio have an amazing selection of prints – we have quite a few around the house.

The refresh came out lovely, I love the gray. Our bedroom could use a refresh, first I need to declutter though.
