L'Occitane Rose

Now I don’t know about, but when it comes to fragrances, I like to switch it up depending on the season. For me, winter is all about a heavy, fragrant, woody scent. But moving into spring, I really want something a little lighter, a little fresher and a little more floral. And thanks to the lovely people over at L’Occitane my new favourite spring scent is the L’Occitane Rose Eau De Toilette.

I have to admit, that traditionally, I’m not the biggest fan of rose scents. I’ve always shied away from them thinking that they’re just a little too old fashioned for my liking. But what strikes me about L’Occitane Rose is just how elegant, fresh and feminine the fragrance is.

With top notes of Litchi, Pink Pepper and Raspberry, heart notes of Rose and Violet and base notes of Patchouli and White Musk, the fragrance feels distinctly modern, but also feminine and elegant.

Another great thing about L’Occtaine Rose is that you can layer the scent with one of their three flavoured waters. Which I have to say are perfect for popping in your handbag and applying throughout the day to amp up the fragrance. I have the Burst of Vitality Rose fragrance water, which is divine. With top notes of Bergamot and Orange, heart notes of Jasmine and base notes of Cedar and Musk, this scent really helps with amping up the energy thanks to it’s fab mix of floral citrus notes.

You can find out more and shop the fragrances here.

Gosh, this sounds heavenly! I love a heavy scent too, but I had never thought about switching up throughout the seasons.

I am not a rose scent fan, but there has been some that I’ve come across and I’ve been like “Oh, that’s quite nice!”

Oh this sounds lovely, to be able to add to the scent through the day. I’m really getting in to fragrances at the moment and this sounds great.
