Afternoon tea at the Hilton on Park Lane

Christmas really is a time for over indulging and having already eaten my double my body weight over the festive period, I decided to take a trip for Afternoon tea at the Hilton on Park Lane earlier this week.

I’ve been for their chocoholic afternoon tea quite a few times now. It really is one of my absolute favourites. The location is ideal, the food is amazing and the cakes are delicious. What more could you want really from an afternoon tea?

To start with you’re offered five open finger sandwiches including prawns, egg mayonnaise, smoked salmon and cream cheese, ham and cucumber.

Next it’s time for the warm scones, and you can choose between plain, raisin or chocolate chip, accompanied by chocolate spread, clotted cream or jam.

And then finally it’s time for the cakes – my favourite part of the tea. The cakes were Christmas themed with cranberry cupcakes, mulled wine macaroons and a chocolate yule log. They look almost as good as they taste.

Have you ever tried the chocoholic afternoon tea at the Hilton before? Where is your favourite place for afternoon tea?

Is this Hilton in Luton? Selection of food looks amazing 😉 I have to take my OH there. Do you know if they have any vegetarian options?
