Anastasia Beverly Hills Peony Lip Gloss

As you may have seen, I previously dipped my toes in the Anastasia Beverly Hills pool by trying (and loving) their Illuminator in Riviera. That was the first Anastasia Beverly Hills product I’d tried – I know, I’m a terrible beauty blogger! But now I’m back with a review of the Anastastia Beverly Hills Peony Lip Gloss.

This is a lovely chic baby pink shade that offers intense pigmentation and precision with their wand – which I really love by the way. As the wand is flat you can really get into the corners and edges of your mouth. And you really do only need one swipe of the lip gloss to get the colour payoff.

This colour is rather pink, and it did remind me a little of what Barbie’s lip gloss might look like. But I really like it! It’s incredibly creamy on the lips and a little really does go a long way with this gloss. Unlike other glosses, this one is on the opaque side with intense pigmentation. So you can wear it on its own or over a lipstick if you wanted an intense lip colour. I’ve only worn it on its own but I love the colour pay off. I was impressed with how long it lasted on my lips – a good few hours through food and drink before needing a top up.

At £22, the Anastasia Beverly Hills Peony Lip Gloss is definitely at the higher end of the market. But I think it’s worth the price tag. The formula is rich and creamy with intense pigmentation and long-lasting wear. I just need to decide which shade to try out next.
