Now I don’t know about you, but I’m a sucker for a small bag. As much as I love the bigger bags, like this one from last week. There’s just something about a small bag that pulls me in. Maybe it’s because you’re limited with how much stuff you can take. Or maybe it’s because some bags just look cuter in a smaller version. Whatever the reason I’m hooked. Which is why the Aspinal of London Micro Lottie bag is one of the newest additions to my collection.

Now you may be shocked that this is a Lottie bag and not a Mayfair bag. And I would have to agree, I was shocked too. Aspinal of London’s Mayfair bag has been my favourite of theirs for years now. It’s such a classic shape. And I love the versitility of wearing a Mayfair bag either across the body, or using the top handle. But the Lottie, might just be my new favourite. It’s a great length to wear across the body. Or you can wear it on your shoulder. Either at the longer length, or shorten the chain so it sits just under your arm. There are just so many possibilities when it comes to this bag.

I have to admit, what first attracted me to this bag, was the colour. I didn’t realise I needed a yellow bag in my life until I got this one. I’ve honestly had so much wear out of this bag already as yellow literally goes with everything! Especially this mustard shade of yellow. I wear a lot of pinks, and blues and this is a great colour to wear with those shades. It also works brilliantly as a pop of colour when wearing darker clothes. And as we head into Autumn/Winter, this mustard colour will work great as the seasons change.
So what can you fit in the Apsinal of London Micro Lottie bag? Well, surprisingly enough. My phone (it’s an iPhone 12), my cardholder, my keys and a lipstic all fit into the bag. So just the essentials really. But its enough. And because you can’t fit everything and the kitchen sink in the bag. It means it’s surprisingly light to wear. Which is a bonus!

I personally think the Aspinal of London Micro Lottie bag is a great all rounder. If you like the style but want more space, then definitely opt for the regular Lottie. Or even the large Lottie if you need a lot of space. The style and sizes definitely remind me of the Mulberry Lily bags. Just without the hefty price tag. The Micro Lottie is £295, while the regular Lottie is £495 and the large Lottie coming in at £650. Which is a LOT cheaper than a Mulberry Lily bag right now.
Let me know what you think of the micro Lottie bag in the comments and let me know what you think about the colour.
