Now there aren’t many moments where it is love at first sight for me. But it was when I saw this bag. Regular readers will know how much I appreciate a nice bag. And I do have a soft spot for Aspinal of London bags. But when I saw their latest Resort collection. Well, my heard skipped a beat. And I know that the Aspinal of London Resort Midi Mayfair bag would need to be mine. And low and behold a work trip to Croatia provided the perfect excuse to bag that bag for the upcoming trip. The irony is that I didn’t end up using it for Croatia, but it was the only bag I packed for Paris. So let me talk you though all the reasons I love this Midi Mayfair bag.

Firstly, this isn’t the first Midi Mayfair bag I own. I already own this one in fuchsia and hands down it must be one of my most used bags. The size is perfect for wearing everyday, as you can fit quite a bit into the two internal compartments. Plus I find the shape to be a classic shape that seems to suit most outfits. Plus I think I wear the fuchsia one as often as I do, as I love the bold pop of pink colour.

The resort collection is a little different. There’s no bold pop of colour. It’s very classic in it’s colour choice with the mix of the buttery soft tan leather and the on trend chevron raffia. It’s definitely a summer bag that works to elevate a simple, classic effort. The cross body style is so easy to wear, and easy to adjust to your preferred length.

As with most Aspinal of London products, there is a chance to personalise your item, with either your name, or initials down embossed down the strap. I personally, didn’t opt for this, but I do think it’s a lovely touch that they offer.
As with other Midi Mayfair bags, this one has two internal compartments, along with a zipped middle pocket. I find these bags to be incredibly roomy, and also really secure with the clasp lock on the front. It really is the ideal sight seeing bag.

Price wise, the Aspinal of London Resort Midi Mayfair Bag was no more expensive than the other Midi Mayfair’s and it priced at £595. But here’s a top tip. Aspinal of London are on Top Cashback, so if you buy through them you’ll receive around 8% back in cashback. I got £40 back on my purchase so it’s worth doing. You can sign up to Top Cashback here.
