Although it might be spring time, I can’t seem to leave the dark colours off my nails. So as a compromise, I’ve moved from dark reds and purples onto taupe shades. I picked up this Bourjois So Laque Glossy Nail Enamel in taupe in Boots last week and it was love at first sight as soon as I saw it.
This is a gorgeous mushroom taupe colour. It’s one of those chic shades that I think just goes with every outfit. And one that I’ll be wearing a lot of over the coming months. There is just something so effortless about wearing taupe on the nails, which is why I can’t get enough of them at the moment.
I’ve not tried any of the So Laque Glossy range from Bourjois before but I have to say I am impressed. The formula is incredibly glossy, very easy to apply and opaque after only two coats. When it comes to the claim that it lasts 10 days on the nails, I’m afraid I didn’t find that to be the case. I’ve applied it twice now and both times I didn’t get past five days without chips appearing. But I don’t mind that. I like to change my nail polish pretty regularly.
Have you tried any of the Bourjois So Laque Glossy Nail Enamels before? What colours are you loving on your nails at the moment?
The colour looks stunning. 5 days sounds very good for a nail polish, I want to change the colour in a couple of days anyway.

Oh I love the gorgeous mushroom taupe colour and it really suits your hand colour tone. Not sure if it would look good on my dark hands.
I think this shade would suit most skin tones x
