Dermatique Recuperating Cream

When it comes to skincare I love trying and discovering new products and when the people behind Dermatique contacted me, I knew I wanted to try their recuperating cream.

This cream is aimed at those with dry, itchy and irritated skin, and although I don’t suffer with any of those skin conditions, I found that this was just a great all round cream.

I personally like to use this a night cream, or a good base before applying makeup. Although the consistency of the cream is pretty thick, once you start applying it to your face, it sinks into the skin very easily. It doesn’t feel sticky and almost immediately leaves your skin feeling hydrated and smooth.

If I’ve used this at night, then my skin feels moisturised and soft in the morning. If I’ve used it in the morning before applying makeup, then I find the nourishing cream is the ideal base for applying my makeup. It works as a great primer at keeping my makeup in place throughout the whole day, without the need for an additional primer.

All in all it’s just a great cream. I would imagine that if you do suffer with skin conditions, then this creamy but fragrance free cream would work well with sensitive skin.

Dermatique Recuperating Cream is available for £29 from their website.

I’m not big on skin care. My problem at the moment is my skin can get quite oily/greasy… so I don’t think it would be suitable for me.

face oils help with oily/greasy skin. You wouldn’t think it but they do – I’m not sure how x

The recuperating cream sounds good and I love the fact it can be used as a night cream or make-up base x
