Be still me beating heart. Have you seen an eyeshadow palette as pretty as this in a while? I sure haven’t. Introducing the Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy sculpting eyeshadow palette*. I know the purple tones may put some people off but it really shouldn’t. Whether you have green, hazel, blue or brown eyes, purple eyeshadow can suit everyone.

Let’s start with the packaging. As with more Estee Lauder products, this palette comes in the gorgeous deep navy finish, with gold accents and a magnetic clasp. Inside, the palette contains five shades in a range of finishes. On the left is the off white reflect shade. Then there are two matte shades, one lilac and one brown, and then two statin shades, one in a silvery taupe and the other a deep violet.

The textures of these shades are just lovely – silky soft and smooth. And the pigmentation is incredibly long lasting and true to the colour in the pan. What really stood out with me is that the shadows can be used dry for a creamy velvet coverage on the lid, or wet for more intensive look.

I’m going to be using this in a tutorial shortly as I think this palette really suits the springtime.

The Estee Lauder makeup range on Harrods.com includes pure color envy sculpting eyeshadow. There are 10 different palettes to choose from and each one costs £40.

Have you tired anything from the Estee Lauder Pure Color range?

I love purple eyeshadows as they go so well with my green eyes and Estee Lauder is such a great brand. A bit pricey for me at the moment but I can’t wait to just go on a shopping spree as soon as money allows it!
