Why the Frezyderm Matte Effect Cream is my oily skin saviour

Frezyderm Matte Effect Cream

Anyone with combination skin will tell you that oily skin can be the bane of their life. Well it is for me anyway. Having combination skin means my skin isn’t just oily, and it isn’t just dry. It’s a combination of the two. Hence the name… Which can prove to be a challenge when trying to find skincare that will nourish the dry areas while mattifying the oily parts. And while some products have failed for me, this one hasn’t. So let me introduce you all to my newest skincare addition – Frezyderm Matte Effect Cream.

Originally a Greek cult brand, Frezyderm is now available in the UK. It’s an award winning brand that prides itself on working with world leading Dermatologists to produce products that actually work and benefit your skin. And because of this I’m sure it’ll become a cult favourite here too. Because unlike other mattifying creams I’ve tried. This one actually leaves a matte finish on skin – Hallelujah!

The lightweight formula seems to instantly absorbs any excess oil on my face, leaving me with a shine free appearance that lasts for up to 10 hours. I find it dries super quickly into my skin leaving it feeling incredibly soft and hydrated. It also works well as great foundation for makeup, helping me stay shine free throughout the whole day. Which has been perfect to use during the hot weather we’ve been having over the past few weeks.

As well as the lightweight formula, I also love the packaging. It has a pump mechanism which is perfect for me and I like the clinical look of the bottle. Now this is part of my skincare routine, I’m not sure it’ll be leaving any time soon. As someone who has suffered with oily skin for as long as I have, it’s amazing to know that products like this really can help to mattify my skin. And now I know what works for me, I’m not giving it up!

The Frezyderm Matte Effect Cream is available from the Frezyderm website for £20.66.

Have you tried anything from Frezyderm before? What’s your favourite skincare product to use?

I had a friend that was bragging about this product and how it leaves a matte finish on the skin. I haven’t tried anything from this brand, but I think that my oily skin would appreciate this 🙂

I haven’t heard of this brand before, but I have really oily skin at the moment and I think this would really help!
