Now I know I sound like a broken record, but seriously, how is it May already? The first four months have completely flown by, and while I’m more than ready to open spring and summer with open arms. I’m also not ready for the year to be almost halfway through. But I am excited for the month ahead as it’s going to be a busy one.
But first, April. Mine was lovely. I hope yours was too. I had a great time over Easter and thoroughly enjoyed all the Easter eggs. Though I have to admit, I’ve still got a couple more to eat, as well as the hundreds of mini eggs I’ve stocked piled to get me through to next year. So that’s good.
But moving onto May and I’m starting off the first Bank Holiday with a work trip….to sunny Peterborough! (I hope you can sense the sarcasm here). While it’s not the way I would usually be spending my Bank Holiday. I mean I’ve just spent the Easter one sunning myself at BBQ’s and in pub gardens. But never the less it’ll be fun and fingers crossed for some sunshine. As we’re outside for the entire Bank Holiday!
I’ve also got another trip with work planned for the second Bank Holiday – I know how to live right? Only this one is to a slightly more fun place of Sweden again. I actually quite like going over there to visit our head office and this trip is a pretty special one so I’m excited. Especially as the weather should be really nice over there at this time of year.
And finally can we talk about Game Of Thrones please? I failed miserably at catching up on all seven seasons before it began again, but I don’t care. I’m some excited it’s back and really can’t wait to see how it ends. I can’t stop reading so many different fan theories around that I’m now totally confused as to how it could end. All I know is that while I can’t wait for it to end. I also really don’t want it to end.
But what about you? What are you most looking forward to this coming month?

I feel exactly the same about Game of Thrones, I want to see all the episodes and know how it will end but I don’t want it to be over. Ohh Sweden for late May bank holiday sounds like fun x
I know how it feels as the months seem to be getting faster and faster, or at least they seem to be. I can’t believe its may has my daughter hits 11 and I can’t believe how times have flown.
We are not doing anything for the Bank holidays this year. We are going away to NZ, so I can visit family I haven’t seen in over 10 years.
When it comes to G-O-T, I know my hubby watches it. I can’t stand the gore, but he’s fine with it. Its the total opposite when it comes to real life operations though on TV, he has to leave the room.
I feel the same! IT WAS JUST CHRISTMAS!!!!! It’s scary really how fast the time goes, I so love May though, we have a crazy one planned!
I’m shocked it’s already May too! Where have the last few months gone? I have been enjoying the unusually warm weather as well. Although I have a confession… I have NEVER watched a single episode of GoT!
It sounds like you’ve got a busy May ahead! Have fun in Sweden
I think I may cry when Game of Thrones finishes. It’s my favourite show
Sounds like you have been busy. Sweden sounds fab xx
OMG GOT.. I missed the first couple episodes due to traveling, but am so glad I’m now caught up. It looks like you have a planned out month ahead.
This year is going very fast. I’ve still not watched one episode of game of thrones
