Is the Burberry scarf worth the investment?

Now I don’t know about you. But for me, the classic Burberry scarf is an item that I’ve wanted in my luxury collection for what seems like forever. I’ve seriously lusted after this item for YEARS. But while it’s not the most expensive luxury scarf out there (I mean some are £800+). At £370 it’s not cheap either. But I finally bit the bullet a couple of months ago. But now that it’s in my collection, is the Burberry scarf worth the investment?

Now, I’m sure fellow luxury lovers will know that this classic scarf, never goes into the sale. Occasionally it’ll be on offer during Black Friday, which is how I managed to bag mine for a sweet £280. Which is still a lot of money. But having lusted over this for YEARS, I know I couldn’t resist adding it to my basket.

Especially as I’ve saved so much money this year from not having to pay any commuting costs. I went for the classic check in the stone colour. For me, this appealed way more than the usual tan check as I felt the softer colour would work better with grey. Which is what I wear a lot of. And while I was tempted by the pink and pale blue versions. I knew that I wanted the classic check in stone. For me I feel that this is a more wearable colour for me.

But is it worth it? For me, it is. The Burberry check has been around for years and for me it’s an icon that will never date. But more than that, it’s something I’ve wanted for a long time. And while the decision to purchase was impulsive (I mean, aren’t all my decisions impulsive!). It’s still one that I don’t regret. At all. I know I’ll use this scarf so much. And while the only outing it’s had so far is a trip to Waitrose. I know, I’ll use this scarf for years to come.
