Is the Gucci belt still worth investing in?

Is the Gucci belt still worth investing in?

Now I don’t know about you, but I’m not one to always buy into trends. Especially luxury trends. I mean trends come and go all the time. But there’s nothing worse than spending a lot of money on something that either you’ll fall out of love with quickly. Or it’ll fall out of fashion within a season or two. But I have to say, I feel like the Gucci belt is fast becoming the luxury staple that will never go out of style. So is the Gucci belt still worth investing in?

Well, having just had a quick browse on the Gucci website, they currently have 72 different versions for sale. In sizes ranging from 60 to 120, which is actually pretty inclusive for a luxury brand. They have the plain leather ones, like this dusty pink one. As well as the newer monogram ones. Oh and chain ones too. Basically every kind of belt you could think of.

Price wise, their belts aren’t the cheapest. The price range starts at £205 but goes all the way up to £1,060 for a fancy chain one. The dusty pink one featured retails for £330. So while they’re not the cheapest of items, they are a reasonable entry level item if you’re looking to purchase a luxury item.

So is the Gucci belt still worth investing in? Personally, I would say yes, It’s a staple that has stayed in style for the past couple of years without fail. I like that Gucci are changing their belts up and offering a wider variety of styles. Which again, just shows that their belts are here to stay. And are still worth investing in. Especially if you love the style. And know that you’ll get a lot of wear out of the product. Plus, they hold their value in the resale space. Which is another sign that this is a product that is standing the test of time.

You can find a full selection of Gucci belts here. What are your thoughts on the Gucci belt? Are you a fan? Do you think it’s still worth investing in?
