Upping my skincare game with Jurlique Activating Water Essence

Jurlique Activating Water Essence

If you follow me on Instagram or Snapchat then you may have seen the Jurlique event pop up last week. Once again I was lucky enough to head into London and go to the launch event for their new Activating Water Essence. Which is just lovely by the way. It’s an extra step in your skincare routine, but it’s seriously worth it – trust me!

As someone with combination skincare, I need all the hydration my skin can get and this Water Essence delivers it in bucket loads. It manages to continuously hydrate, soften and revitalise my skin. It’s packed with Marshmallow Root Extract which is a botanical ingredient known for it’s soothing and hydrating properties. And this Activating Water Essence is perfect for ensuring my skin is constantly hydrated.

Jurlique Activating Water Essence

I use this once I’ve cleansed and toned. I then put about four drops of the Jurlique Activating Water Essence into my hands, rub them together, and then press them onto my skin. Then I go in with my serum and moisturiser. As I said, this is an extra step in my skincare routine but it’s worth it!

The Jurlique Activating Water Essence just makes my skin feel plumper and more radiant. And thanks to the Marshmallow Root Extract, my skin doesn’t dry out throughout the day. It also leaves my skin in great condition for applying makeup. And as my skin isn’t as dry, I find my foundation stays in places for longer and looks flawless throughout the day.

I have to admit this is the first product I’ve tried from Jurlique but I’m hooked. I can see a very expensive shopping trip happening next time I’m at the Oxford Street Debenhams!

The Jurlique Activating Water Essence cost £40 and is available from their website or their counter at Debenhams on Oxford Street.

What do you think of the Jurlique Activating Water Essence? Will you be adding this extra step into your skincare routine?

Argh…going through blogs today and have found 2 skincare brands that sound great. As a naturally-minded skincare enthusiast, that NEVER happens. Actually…I already know Jurlique is great as its one I always buy for my mother and take home to Canada for her. I like their products as they are made with biodynamically grown botanical ingredients – which means its far better than organic standards.

I have heard about this range and people have raved about it so much. It is definitely more on the pricier side.. but I think it would be a lovely treat for your skin!

I have just finished using the jurlique rose toning mist, and I loved it! I think shall definitely have to try this, as their products really seem to agree with my skin, and in these colder months our skin needs all the hydration it can get xx

It sounds great and you don’t need much either which is even better. Glad to see they are using natural products, marshmallow is fab on the skin.

My skin is so dry at the moment that this sounds like a product I should be trying. Autumn into Winter seems to make my skin worse, no matter how many creams I use, so I will be checking this one out!

I’ve never heard of Jurlique before but this activating water essence sounds exactly like a product I could use. I’m always up for adding a little more moisture to my skin before applying my makeup. And especially as we are definitely in Autumn, the harsh cold is really going to make my skin freak out.
