L’Oreal infallible mattifying primer

I have a major weakness for primers. I can’t help it. I’ll try almost anything to stop the dreaded 4pm shine attack and I’m sure most people are the same. Especially in the hot weather we’ve been having recently. As you may have seen I recently picked up the L’Oreal Infallible 24 hour matte foundation and loved it so much, I went back and picked up the L’Oreal infallible mattifying primer.

If you have oily skin like me then this primer could be exactly what you’re looking for. It’s a lightweight, non-greasy gel based primer than works by mattifying your skin before you apply makeup. The formula works by leaving your skin looking and feeling soft without drying out your complexion – which is what you want from a primer.

I’ve been using this pretty much everyday with my L’Oreal Infallible 24 hour matte foundation and it’s been working wonders in this hot weather. Combined they create a lovely coverage and help the makeup last all day on my skin. The only thing I would say is that you really only need a little bit of the primer and personally, I only apply it to my t-zone as that’s my problem area.

The L’Oreal infallible mattifying primer is £7.99 and is available from Superdrug.

Have you tried the L’Oreal infallible mattifying primer before? What’s your favourite primer to use?

I’ve never tried a primer but my t-zone is a real problem for me so I really should give it a go! I’m a little reluctant to add yet another product to my routine as I feel like that might be one to many layers but this weather is already playing havoc with my skin.

I would really recommend this primer for targeting an oily t-zone x

This sounds brilliant and definitely perfect for summer 🙂 I always love Loreal products, they’re such good quality for the price.

I have to say I hated this primer, I suffer with extremely oily skin and this didn’t help one bit. I have however tried the foundation from the same range and I think that’s a miracle worker, it’s just a shame they don’t have more shades as the lightest is too pink toned for my yellow toned skin! xx

Oh I thought this would really help if you had oily skin, glad the foundation worked for you though, just a shame their colour choice isn’t varied x
